This all Metro Meeting was held at the Double Tree in Cedar Rapids featuring Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar Wooj Byun. His topic was "My Rotary Journey" where he told about a number of ways Rotary made it possible for him to provide "Service Above Self."
Wooj Byun's story highlights his life in Korea, before coming to Minnesota to attend law school through a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. Wooj eventually settled in Edina, MN as a lawyer, and settled in to a life of service with Rotary by joining the Rotary Club of Edina, and paying back in his own way that scholarship that helped shape his life. Wooj has written a book, "My Rotary Journey: A Memoir of a Rotary International Ambassador."
