Message from Rtn T. Selvaraju

Rotary President, Secretary, and fellow Rotarians, I am from India.  Delighted.

I am reminded of the dream of a poet of India.  Kanian Poonkundran who lived three thousand years back in Tamil classic Pura nanooru. He said "yathum urey yavarum Keleer".  Which means, "I am a world citizen, every citizen is my own kiths and kin.  He said three thousand years back in India. Where there is righteousness in the heart, where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in this character.  When there is beauty in this character there is harmony in the home.  When there is harmony in the home, there is an order in the Nation.  When there is order in the Nation. There is peace in the world.

Rotary is a part from race, religion, citizenship and community.  Rotary has created this opportunity for me to interact with you all.  Thank you all for this opportunity.
