He is a past president of the Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary club, a Corridor Business Journal Forty Under Forty Honoree, graduate of Leadership for Five Seasons, a board member for Professional Developers of Iowa, and is the current chair of the Iowa Great Places Advisory Board.
