After a year of hard work and community service, the Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club celebrated the Holidays at its December 16th meeting. Rotarians Barry, John and Tom festively wear their Christmas ties. The Marion Home School Strings played holiday music. and accompanist extraordinaire Diane Beach lead us in song and we even sounded pretty good for a club that does not regularly sing. Thank you to Kim Jass-Ramirez for organizing our holiday program.

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season with friends and loved ones.  Continue to count the many blessings for which each of us can be thankful.  It is in looking at all we have and putting into perspective the needs of others that we are continually motivated to "Service Above Self."  The Club will not meet the last two weeks of December but will be back at it January 6, 2015 with many things planned for the second half of the Rotary Year that ends June 30.
