Holiday Giving Project

The opportunity is here to have a direct impact on individuals in OUR community this Holiday Season. For 20+ years the Marion Independent School District has participated in the Holiday Giving Project helping residents in our community with serious financial struggles to help provide a Christmas to their families. Our rotary club has volunteered to help provide gifts to 10 families this year, bringing joy to approximately 40 individuals in our community this Holiday Season.

We are asking for your help to support this cause in a variety of ways.

1)      Purchase/Donate a gift

a.       Attached you will find a list of gifts that have been requested from these families.

b.      Please let Brian Doyle at briand@benefitsolutionsinc.com know if you would like to shop for a gift so he can update the list.

2)      Donate your time

a.       We will be delivering these gifts the week of 12/17-12/21 during the work day, if interested let Brian know.

b.      Volunteer to help wrap and bundle these gifts the evening of 12/13 at Marion High School.

3)      Donate your hard earned money

a.       We will be passing the “duckinator” around at every rotary meeting between now and deliveries. These monetary donations will go to purchasing gifts that are not donated from the list attached.

I'm very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of such an important project in our community. Any help you can provide is much appreciated not only by our group but especially by the families who are impacted so much because of this work.
