Greet District Governor John Bender

Congratulations from the Rotary Club of Marion-East CR to our own John Bender.  John was installed as our newest District Governor replacing PDG Dr. Jill Olsen, who also calls our club her home.  Past President Michelle Bell shared this was the first time our District has had consecutive Governors during her introduction of keynote speaker Linda Elliott, PDG District 5810. The ceremonies were held at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center.  A welcome to Kirkwood by Mick Starcevich along with presentations by Bender, PDG Jim Patton, entertainer Tim Boyle and District Foundation Chair Doug Laird made the Installation a special evening. 

Past District Governor Greg Hapgood officially conducted the oath as several Rotary dignitaries looked on.
