Doug Laird- District 5970 Foundation Chair

Join us as Doug gives an overview about Foundation activities in District 5970.

Several initiatives have been well accepted by District Rotarians, such as the Rotary Rush, Paul Harris Society and renewed emphasis on District and global grants.  Doug will give a brief overview of each, show how the District has made tremendous progress in funding projects, as well as polio eradication efforts over the last several years.  

DG John reminds us that the number one reason that Rotarians stay in Rotary is because of community impact.  Come and listen to Doug explain how The Rotary Foundation can assist the Marion club in its local community impact.
