Mr. Waffle is excited about our upcoming spring fundraisers. The first is our Waffle Breakfast with the first annual Waffle Eating Contest. The contestants are chosen and in training. This is the first of two dates where "all hands on deck" are needed and it is time to volunteer for a shift to provide service to guests at Vernon Middle School. There is a sign-up sheet that has been circulating at our meetings. Part of the Waffle Breakfast is to obtain items for our silent auction. It is requested of our members to obtain a Silent Auction item from contacts you may have or can obtain a contact and past donor from the Waffle Breakfast Committee. The Waffle Breakfast is on May 18.
The second fundraiser is the Marion Fly-in and Pancake Breakfast. It is on Sunday June 23. You will be hearing more about it in the near future.
These events require some help from everyone to be successful and not overburden other Club members. There will be more information in the near future however we hope this helps you to plan ahead.
