Our Echo Hill Station project continues to inspire and brings support from Marion community member Joyce Stepanek. Her mother worked for Collins Radio and her father who actually worked at Echo Hill Station. Joyce has made two donations to the site at Lowe Park. She provided foliage framing the plaza section memorializing her mother, Maralyn Hudson. This past week Tom Barnes and Erik Miles with help from the Barnes Manufacturing Scallywag Divion installed a bench honoring her father, Leland Hudson This adds to the human side of the project as very talented people in our community helped to make great impacts in space exploration and communications. If as a Rotarian, you have not visited Echo Hill Station at Lowe Park, you need to do so. Thanks to Joyce for adding this perspective to the project.
