We are scheduled to ring bells for the Salvation Army on November 20th in front of (probably the west door) the Collins Rd Hy Vee.

  From:

10am to Noon Jill Olsen and Pat Quinn
Noon to 2pm Bob Mollman and Brian Doyle
2pm to 4pm Shaun Barry and Shawn DeVeries
4pm to 6pm Jeff Sefridge and a member of the Interact club
6pm to 8pm Paul Newman an open spot

If the process works as in past, the kettle will be hanging on the stand, locked to the stand and in place.  Aprons with a bell in the pocket will be hanging on the stand.  Somebody from the Salvation Army will pick the kettle up after 8 pm.  The instructions we’ve received say, because it is locked to the stand you may leave even if no one has picked it.  During the day please don’t leave until the next ringer has reported for duty.  If they don’t show or if you have any other problems or questions during the day, call Don Zierath at 319-721-3190.

As the above list indicates, we need someone to work with Paul from 6 pm to 8 pm.  If you can, please let Don know or call at 364-9196.

Jeff Selfridge is providing a piece of carpet for you to stand on to help keep your tootsies warm.  He said to just leave it there at the end of the day.  Also, I have made special arrangements.  If the temperature is below 60 degrees you will receive make up credit and if it is over 60 you still get credit and have lucked out.
