Barnes Business Shoe Card Challenge

At the July 22nd Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club meeting, Shoe Card Chairman, Tom Barnes issued a challenge to members and guests to have their businesses donate to the "Shoes For Kids" Program as a special gift. Tom leads the way with a generous gift.

At our July 22nd Rotary Club meeting, Shoe Card Chairman, Tom Barnes issued a challenge to members and guests to have their businesses donate to the "Shoes For Kids" Program as a special gift. The tornado in Parkersburg and the flooding in the Cedar Rapids area has created an immediate need for assistance to many families who were displaced or severly impacted. The club is providing 150 shoe cards through the "Boys and Girls Club of Cedar Rapids and two local outlets in the Parkersburg area. This may be just the start in meeting these needs. Tom provided a generous check from Barnes Manufacturing Services to lead the way.
