Marion Cares continues to seek businesses, churches, and organizations willing to help prevent homelessness by supporting families facing housing crises. Stable housing helps children stay in school and families stay together.
Become a Housing Partner
SHINE Summer Connection Program
Children are enjoying educational activities, outdoor recreation, character-building lessons, healthy living opportunities, and weekly field trips in a safe and encouraging environment.
Backpack Adoption Now Open
Marion Cares is preparing more than 650 backpacks filled with school supplies for Marion and Linn-Mar students. Community members can adopt a student and help ensure every child starts the school year prepared and confident. Backpack adoption is open through July 31. Adopt a Student
