A Note from Your District Governor
Good morning from Taiwan,
We are in the middle of a torrential rain storm(typhoon) as we are heading to the International convention in Taipei by bicycle.
My term as District Governor is coming to an end. I want to thank all members of 5970 for making this past year a joy to serve you and your clubs. Each member and club is different and is doing great things. (KEEP ON KEEPING ON)
Just a few things I hope you can carry forward into next year. Find your replacement.
(that person that is as passionate about the goals of Rotary as you are).
Working hard and getting blisters is part of the job, SERVICE ABOVE SELF (Sometimes the blisters can be mental.)
Jeff Halverson is our incoming governor, and I know you will embrace him with the same zest and warmth as you did for me.
The future for me is to assist in district fund raising. I am accepting all ideas for accomplishing this job.
