Rotary TV
Did you know we have Rotary TV?  Bet you didn’t know…neither did I.  So, let’s spread the word!
Wade Nomura, past District 5240 Governor, works out of a small Santa Barbara studio once a month to tape programs for release on Cox TV.  Links to the tapes are offered in the District newsletter and Wade’s newsletter every month and are featured on YouTube.

The subject areas covered in these interviews include international projects, community projects and other programs sponsored by Rotary Clubs and their members.  In a half-hour interview conversation, he delves into all kinds of things going on in Rotary!  He says he has over 100 different interviews.

So, this month the subject was “Tree Planting Projects” and “Recovery Efforts After the Thomas Fire.”    We talked about everything our club has done to complete the tree planting efforts in Ventura and what we have planned in Ojai and Ventura for future planting.  I was nervous, but Wade made it very comfortable.  Hope it turned out well.

We will arrange to get a link to our website and our Facebook page, so maybe we can get out lots of PR for Rotary!  This interview featured 10 photos of our members digging in the dirt at the Ventura Land Trust Big Rock Preserve.  We will let you know when it is available for you to view.  Spread the word about Rotary!
