Hello Rotarians and friends of The Rotary Club of Ventura East. I’m not sure if the saying goes that March is supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, but last week’s weather said that it went out like a lion. I’m glad that I was out of town to miss that rainstorm. Thank you again Tim Hughes for covering for me. I was in upstate New York visiting family.

It looks like we have a very busy month planned for April, beginning with this Wednesday, April 6, our club will be participating in the Food Share effort. Registration begins at 1:15 at College Park in Oxnard. You can register at Food Share of Ventura County - Volunteer Console (cervistech.com). This will be our charitable work for the next three months.

Please keep the citizens of the Ukraine in your thoughts and prayers. With limited food weapons, and supplies, many Americans are asking how they can help. As Rotarians, we know that Rotary is always going to lend a hand. Anyone interested in making a contribution may send a check to International and on the “subject”’ line, write UKRAINE. If you would prefer to   have our club forward the check for you, we will be happy to.

Please don’t forget to register for the Aut2Run and the Ronald McDonald Walk for Kids. These are very special programs for our club, and they need all of the support that we can give.

Thank you,

Future programs are as follow:
