Meeting March 2, 2017

Greg Frye led us in the Flag Salute.

 

President Husam thanked our greeters Melody O'Leary Namikas and P.E. Harriet Clune.

 

Guest of Sharon Daly was Kevin Daly and Guest of the Club was Ashley Pope.

 

Harriet Clune let us know about a Master PRLS weekend in Bakersfield. On March 10th - 12th you can have the opportunity to take all 5 Master PRLS classes in one weekend!

 

President Husam thanked the club members who turned out for Ventura-South's Mardi Gras Fundraiser for Turning Point Foundation.

 

Todd Juvonen let us know that the Board Meeting was rescheduled to March 8th and that the Community Service meeting will be on March 15th.

 

There will be a Rotary project coming up in April where all 3 clubs will have a work day at the Botanical Gardens. Details to follow.

 

Joe Strohman said that the 4 Way Test essays have been turned in and that Joe and his group of judges will be reading through them and selecting the winners.

John Borneman led us in a song.

 

Todays raffle prize was donated by Bob Pazen.

 

John Masterson said the cruise is next week and there are 29 people signed up and ready to go!

 

Jeff Hata told the club about the Magic Show fundraiser at the Poinsettia Pavilion on March 11th.
