Welcome New Member, Molly Morrison!

The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise welcomes its newest member, Molly Morrison! Read the full story HERE.
Molly Morrison was inducted as a new member of the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise on March 31, 2017.
Molly was born in Victoria, TX. She spent most of her adolescent years in Santa Rosa, CA, relocated twice more, before moving to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB. It was there she majored in Biological Sciences and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in 2015. Anxious to jump into the workforce, the Monday after graduation Molly started her career at Anasys Instruments, a scientific instrumentation company known to be the leader in nanoscale infrared spectroscopy, where she is still employed (and loves it!).
Outside of work, Molly is known to do too many things! Aside from the usual outdoor Santa Barbara activities, she loves going to CorePower yoga, where she is also a member of the Studio Experience Team (SET). She serves as the Third District Commissioner on the Fish and Wildlife Commission of Santa Barbara County, an active member of the Santa Barbara Women's Political Committee, and involved in other boards and groups.
Molly is an only child; however, her parents have her dog, Dora, which she left behind when she departed for college. Molly says, “My parents are my inspiration, I owe everything I've accomplished to them. And I'm not just saying that because they had to keep my dog.”
She continues, “Rotary is an amazing organization which I have been unknowingly waiting to be a part of; a Rotarian's dedication towards community, equality and civic service are values that I consider to be above all. I am thrilled to start this chapter of my life, and am so happy that I get to spend it with Santa Barbara Sunrise!”
