Carriage and Western Art Museum OFFSITE MEETING

Dylan Peterson was born and raised in Santa Barbara, graduating from SB High School in 1995. Currently, he serves as the President of The Carriage and Western Art Museum of Santa Barbara, where he has been a board member since 2018. He earned a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from UCSB and spent over 15 years researching Alzheimer’s disease, publishing several articles in journals like the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Today, he manages the undergraduate biochemistry and microbiology labs at UCSB.

During today's tour of the Carriage Museum, we'll explore the Stagecoach days of the Old West, focusing on Santa Barbara's history. You'll see wagons, saddles, and artifacts once used by notable figures from the area, including Dwight Murphy, Pearl Chase, Silsby Spalding, and Sam Stanwood.

THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD OFFSITE AT THE CARRIAGE AND WESTERN ART MUSEUM AT 129 CASTILLO STREET, SANTA BARBARA.
