Randy Rowse owned and operated the Paradise Cafe in downtown Santa Barbara for 37 years and was a City Council Member for 9 years before being elected Mayor last November. He moved here in 1972 to attend UCSB as an Environmental Studies major, and never left.  He and his wife Janet live in the same house on the Mesa where they’ve spent the past 36 years and raised their two children. Throughout all these years, his passion for the vibrancy of our downtown and the natural elements of our beautiful city has not diminished. Randy will discuss his first months as Mayor and will have time for questions.
