What's New at the Zoo?

Retiring zoo director, Rich Block, will provide a final update on all things Santa Barbara Zoo.  During his tenure the zoo has become the first zoo on the West Coast to be designated a Certified Autism Center; created a preschool program that became California’s first licensed outdoor preschool; and being one of only six accredited zoos in the country to work with California condors, helping to bring them back from the brink of extinction.

Meetings are held in person at the Santa Barbara Club with a breakfast buffet. (Fresh fruit and baked breads, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and coffee!) Fee to attend: $25.
