March is Membership Month, which means it's time to celebrate our Rotary club, our members and the good we do in our community and around the world. It is time to bring new members!
Do you know someone who is looking to make a difference? Wants to connect with other community leaders? Invite a friend to attend a meeting to find out!
Share this file containing information about who we are and what we do.

WHEN GROUP 8 CLUBS MEET
Whether for a make-up or just a friendly visit to a fellow Rotary club, here’s a list of the 8 clubs in Group 8:
The day-to-day operations of Rotary International's Secretariat are under the supervision of the general secretary, the top professional officer of Rotary. Although the general secretary is responsible to the RI Board of Directors and president, he provides the ongoing management for nearly 500 staff members who compose the Secretariat of Rotary International.
The general secretary serves as secretary to the RI board and is also the chief executive and financial officer of The Rotary Foundation, under the supervision of the trustees of the Foundation. He is the secretary of all Rotary committees as well as the Council on Legislation, regional conferences and the annual Rotary convention.
The general secretary is appointed by the RI board for a term of not more than five years and is usually re-elected.

ROTARY PIN CHALLENGE - Week 37
Being Irish-at-heart, I am celebrating St. Patrick's Day with my little shamrock heart pin. As you know, what began as a religious feast day for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture with parades, dancing, special foods and a whole lot of green.
I hope to catch a little Irish music in the form of Shepherd's Pie playing at La Arcada Bistro on March 17 at 1-3pm and Dargan's Pub on March 18 at 6-8pm.
I have challenged myself to wear my Rotary pin EVERY day. By doing this I hope to raise awareness of Rotary and Rotary's work. I invite all Sunrise Rotarians to join me in wearing a Rotary pin EVERY day.
