Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is proud to support Sanctuary Centers of Santa Barbara.

Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is proud to support Sanctuary Centers of Santa Barbara with a $4,695.56 contribution toward its new Health & Housing Center. Club members presented the check to Barry Schoer, President of Sanctuary Centers, at a recent club meeting.

The new Rebecca T. and James P. Craig Foundation Center for Health & Housing is an important addition to Sanctuary Centers’ Integrated Care Campus in Santa Barbara. The new facility will provide 34 units of supportive housing for individuals living with serious mental illness, a full floor of behavioral health care, and a 5,000-square-foot primary medical clinic serving the Santa Barbara community.

Our support is also connected to Sanctuary Centers’ expanding services for young people. This year’s Rotary District Grant will provide materials and supplies for a new mental health therapy program serving youth and adolescents.

To learn more about the project and see the new facility firsthand, Rotary Sunrise members were invited to a special tour led by Barry Schoer. The visit offered an opportunity to learn more about Sanctuary Centers’ work, see the new building taking shape, and better understand the impact of our club and District support.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Sanctuary Centers and look forward to seeing this new center become a valuable resource for our community.
