We remember Bob McPhillips, a colorful former member of our Rotary family who was known for his spirit and humor. Bob joined Rotary in 2003 originally, left and rejoined in 2017. He dedicated himself to our community, organizing the Salvation Army’s red kettle bell ringing volunteers. Bob also participated in Rotary’s National Immunization Days in India. He often contributed to our meetings, filling the room with laughter—even if his off-color jokes raised a few eyebrows!
Bob proudly served in the Navy as an enlisted man and later built a successful career in accounting, eventually retiring with Yardi Systems. He also loved winding down with a glass of wine at the Tee Off bar after work.
Bob passed away this summer. We are not aware of a memorial service at this time.
