The new Rotary year is off to a great start!
The Dolphin Derby was a fun way to kick off the new Rotary year! A great time was had by all and we look forward to hearing from Dennis and the committee about our financial success. The funds raised will support foundation projects for 2025-2026. In the July meetings, I shared my vision and goals for the coming year. I’ve assembled a motivated Board to help us get there! I hope everyone will stretch their comfort zone and join a new committee this year. Throughout the year, we will be celebrating our legacy through the words of past club and district leaders. It will be fun to see how things have changed and yet the “soul” of the club remains the same. The second meeting we ignited the Fiesta-fever through the Spirit of Fiesta. I think everyone will agree that she was bright, articulate and feisty and it came through in her dancing. Then we had a well-attended happy hour at El Paseo to keep that Fiesta vibe flowing. Hope to see you at the parade and other Fiesta events. Thank you to those in our club who have been so involved in planning Old Spanish Days Fiesta every year.
As August begins, there are more activities and opportunities to come. Please join in as your schedule permits. We are people of action!
