Dear Rotarians and friends,
September was another wonderful, action-packed month for our club, with great programs, initiating Marjorie Woodruff as a new member and welcoming Jann and Kirk Greene to full-time residence. We also had activities including trash cleanup and two activities that are yet to happen as I write this - - our Mixer Social and Flash Mob on 9/30. There's lots more to come in October, including Camp Whittier work day, our District Conference in Bakersfield October 20-21, bocce at Arnoldi's on the 26th, and several Team Rotary volunteer opportunities.
Doing things together makes it all so much better. Let's embrace DG Marta's theme of "Let's have Fun" while we also accomplish service above self.
