President Bruce looks ahead to 2024 with many activities and good works in Santa Barbara and internationally.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wow! It's fantastic to be launching 2024. I send you all my very best wishes for a very happy and successful year.
Our first meeting of January will be at Mulligan's, since the Santa Barbara Club is having work done on it. Thanks to Joanne for arranging this. Since we will be "off site" we will not have Zoom capabilities. We have to be flexible in these situations. Hopefully everyone can attend this meeting in person!
As the new year gets underway, we will be forging ahead with our many activities and good works here in Santa Barbara and internationally.
I am looking forward to joining the Rotary District 5240 National Immunization Day excursion to India. I leave on January 29th and will be away until February 10, so please understand if I can't be quite as responsive just before, during and just after those dates.
We will be revving up the Dolphin Derby engines in January, so please be ready to pitch in and help our hard-working committee to move on sponsorships, 50/50 partnerships, and other components that are important to the success of this fundraiser.
A big abbraccio to all. I look forward to continuing our Rotary fellowship together, as well as our swim through Italy.
