New kitchen appliances for New Beginnings Counseling Center.
The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise provided funding for much needed kitchen appliances and supplies for New Beginnings in Santa Barbara. New Beginnings is a non-profit organization that provides psychological counseling and housing assistance services to the homeless, as well as low-income individuals and families throughout Santa Barbara County. Their four core programs include: counseling center, supportive services for veterans, safe parking shelter and rehousing, and life skills parenting and education. Community Service co-chairs, Diana Washburn and Pita Khorsandi toured the New Beginnings facility with Victor Virgen, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program Manager.
