Two students awarded computers will start SBCC in the fall.
Congratulations to two graduating seniors from La Cuesta/Alta Vista Alternative Education who received free laptop computers donated by the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise. The La Cuesta administration asks teachers to nominate students that have excelled in their studies, have applied to SBCC, and are financially challenged. The students that are nominated are asked to create a video answering questions such as college major, career goals, significant influences, family details, and favorite high school subject. We congratulate and send our best wishes to these two students as they head to SBCC in the fall with their new computers!
