Dear Santa Barbara Sunrise Rotary members!
It’s June and the last 30 days of my Rotary presidency. Wow! Time sure flies when you’re having fun! Thank you for the opportunity to be your president a second time. It’s been both a pleasure and a privilege to lead this wonderful club!
What an impact we’ve made as Rotarians in our community and in the world! We have so much to be proud of this year! I look forward to seeing you at my last two meetings in June to celebrate our many accomplishments.
At our June 7th meeting, we will be focusing on our Dolphin Dive Fundraiser coming up Sunday, July 9th. We need everyone to participate as this fundraiser can only be possible and successful if everyone participate . . . getting sponsors, selling dolphins, and working the event! The money we raise at the Dolphin Dive is used to fund all our wonderful community and international projects. To continue to do so many beneficial projects, we need to have funding! Let’s work together!! We can do this!
On June 21st, we will celebrate all that we’ve accomplished this year, and board directors and committee chairs will recognize their committee members! I will also have the opportunity to recognize my board for all their hard work and dedication this year and recognize some members with Paul Harris Fellows for their work above and beyond! It’s going to be fun, so please join me.
