New furniture assembled for Hidden Haven satellite space at La Cumbre Junior High School.
Members of the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise recently volunteered with the Grace Fisher Foundation to assemble furniture for a new Hidden Haven satellite space at La Cumbre Junior High School.
Created through a partnership between the Grace Fisher Foundation and La Cumbre Junior High, Hidden Haven spaces are dedicated, cozy, multi-sensory rooms designed to provide neurodivergent students and youth of all abilities with a peaceful environment to calm, comfort, and self-regulate.
Sunrise Rotary is proud to be a longtime partner of the Grace Fisher Foundation, supporting a variety of projects that promote inclusion, creativity, and well-being in our community.
Following the project, Grace Fisher shared her appreciation: “You all were such an awesome crew! Thank you so much for your time and all the hard work. Couldn’t have done it without you... literally!”
