Nonprofits receive hand sanitizers.
Three pallets of hand sanitizers were donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs, Casa de la Raza, Showers of Blessing, Unity Shoppe, and American Red Cross! Washing of hands is the most effective way to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. When soap and water is not available, the CDC recommends the use of hand sanitizer. The sanitizers that went to the Boys and Girls Clubs were included in holiday food boxes that were distributed to 500+ low income families through all of the clubs in Santa Barbara/Goleta area. Other nonprofits distributed them to their staff and clients as needed.
