Essays now being accepted from elementary, middle and high school students.
District 5240 will be starting the 4-Way Test Essay Contest on February 1, 2022. Our club will be accepting submissions which will be due to the District March 1, 2022. Joanne Schoenfeld Orenstein, Vocational Service Chair, will be reaching out to local schools for their participation. We will select one essay from elementary school (1-5), middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) students. The District will then announce winning essays submitted by all the clubs in each of the categories by April 15th.
The goal is to encourage students to consider how “The 4-Way Test” can be used for conflict resolution with classmates. This is accomplished by expressing their thoughts in an essay that relates a case or story where they will, or could have, applied these principles in their everyday lives.
