2017 Spirit of Fiesta

Norma Escárcega

Norma won the title of Spirit of Fiesta by competing among 10 other dancers. She proudly represents San Marcos High School as their Senior Class Vice President. Throughout high school Norma has been enrolled in AP and honors classes. She volunteers at Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center by assisting those with disabilities. She aspires to become a probation officer in the future. Having danced Flamenco for 15 years, she's experienced and enjoyed all aspects of Fiesta and the tradition it holds. Representing Santa Barbara as 2017 Spirit of Fiesta will allow her to not only impact the youth, but also share her passion for Flamenco with her community.
