State Street Revitalization Project

As Santa Barbara's newly appointed Economic Development Manager, Jason Harris will develop and implement an economic development plan prioritized on the revitalization of downtown. Additionally, he plans to work with and advocate for Santa Barbara businesses, commercial property owners and community organizations to strengthen the City’s economy, support the business community and attract investment to the City. He brings extensive economic development experience and most recently served as the Economic Development Manager for the City of Santa Monica, CA and previously as Deputy Director of Downtown Development for the City of Phoenix, AZ. Jason is committed to promoting a sustainable and vibrant local economy and fostering partnerships to support businesses and achieve community goals. Jason holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration.
