Brittany started her career as a medical librarian at Mayo Clinic. During her eight years at Mayo, she obtained her Masters in Library Science with a focus on Medical Library Sciences.  After her time at Mayo she took a position in the Washington, DC area as the Director of the Medical Library at Suburban Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine.  In 2011 Brittany was recruited by Cottage Health to manage the clinical medical library.  Over the past eight years Brittany has developed a program where medical librarians participate in clinical rounding with physicians.  In addition, Brittany worked with a multi-disciplinary team at Cottage Health to design a state of the art new medical library that opened in Nov 2016.
