The Decommissioning of the Oil Rigs
Sara Dearman has held the position of Government and Public Affairs Representative for the Chevron West Coast Decommissioning Program since 2018, serving as the community and local government representative for the team. She has been with Chevron since 2005, representing Chevron in various public affairs roles both in San Ramon, CA and Singapore. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara County, she was a Global Social Investment Advisor stewarding Chevron’s global annual social investment budget as well as implementing and leading the global social investment monitoring and evaluation tool to be able to collect data on impact enterprise-wide. Sara lives with her husband, Dustin, and our two young daughters in Santa Barbara. 
 
Becky Trujillo has held the position of Regulatory Affairs Manager on Chevron’s West Coast Decommissioning Program team since 2018, serving as liaison and the primary point of contact between federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and the West Coast Decommissioning Program. She joined Chevron in 2005, beginning her career in various land management and regulatory roles in Houston, New Orleans, and Bakersfield. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, Becky was a Team Lead overseeing a group of land professionals tasked with managing upstream and asset retirement projects throughout California. She has been an active part of Chevron’s regulatory leadership team since 2015. Becky actively volunteers with the Santa Barbara County Shelter, and lives with her foster dog in Santa Barbara.
