A local organization is making an impact on our waste management.  Specific film plastics (Type 2 and 4) are highly recyclable -being made into Trex products (you've seen them: long-lasting wood-like plastic boards used for decking and outside furniture).  They need help sorting the plastic films and baling them for shipment.  Volunteer and first learn what Type 2 & 4 plastics are and then reduce the plastics going into our landfill.  Location is in the back courtyard at Ablitt's Fine Cleaners, 14 West Gutierrez St. -Park in the city lot across the street.
