SBIFF Film Camp Dinner and Presentation

One of the projects supported by our club's Foundation this year was to provide funding for equipment rental for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's Film Camp at Camp Whittier.  Twenty-five teenagers selected from the Boys & Girls Clubs spend a week receiving expert training from people within the film industry.  During the week, small groups make their own short films, culminating in a presentation to families on the evening of Friday, June 21st.

As you know, wherever possible, we like to have some volunteer activity with the non-profit agencies to which we contribute.  To that end, we have the opportunity to go to Camp Whittier on the evening of Friday, June 21st at 5:30 p.m. to help serve dinner to campers and their families, which will be at 6:00 p.m. We are invited to eat there and then watch the film presentations afterwards at 7:00 p.m.
