Rotary Chumash Point Walk at SBCC

The Ethnobotanical Chumash Point at SBCC is a hidden wonder. Please join Diana and Oliver on Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 am. Park in the Pershing Park lot and meet at the Carriage Museum sign. There are stairs in the beginning part of the walk then easy going. Once at the top of the hill we will be treated with sweeping views of Santa Barbara and the harbor. Learn about native plants, and an ancient burial ground for the Chumash. On the walk back down the hill we will stop to check out the progress of the bandstand at Pershing Park. The walk takes about one hour. Then off to the harbor for lunch at Breakwater Restaurant for those who have worked up an appetite.
