Post-Thanksgiving Walk w Judith & Bella the Boxer

Time to walk off our Thanksgiving turkey!!

Have you ever hiked Parma Park?  Parma Park is the largest City open space park, encompassing approximately 200 acres of oak woodland and chaparral along Sycamore and Coyote Creeks.  Gifted to the City in 1973, this park is known for its history, habitat, and recreational uses including its popularity as a landing spot for paragliders and hang gliders.  Hikers will enjoy sweeping views of the City of Santa Barbara, Montecito, and the Santa Barbara Channel Islands.  Trails are solid and well constructed but some can be steep.  Perfectly doable for average hiker/walker.  Bring your walking sticks.  Dogs are welcome!

It's time to go for a walk with a small group of your Rotary friends! We'll be careful and practice social distancing. Each walk will be limited to the first 8 people who sign up, so there will be plenty of room for social distancing. You must RSVP in advance and be confirmed to participate. When you RSVP, you'll receive the directions regarding where to meet. Dogs welcome and encouraged!

Please bring a mask, some water, sun screen and a hat! Both walks have beautiful scenery. We'll be walking approximately 3 miles. Let's get out and enjoy the outdoors and some fellowship!
