Community Naloxone Training

The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise has entered into an agreement to participate with Rotary Action Group (RAG) Addiction Prevention North America Chapter. The first session to orient potential trainers began in June. 25 people (including 6 from the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise) participated in the training conducted by Larry Kenemore, chair of the North American Chapter of RAG-AP.

Community members are invited to learn how to administer Naloxone, a medicine that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose. The next training will be held on August 6, 2024 at 6pm at Unity Shoppe located at 110 W.
