Being part of Rotary has it responsibilities.  One of the cornerstones that makes Rotary different from other service clubs is its commitment to meet regularly.  Realizing that a member cannot always be at his home club for the meeting, there are alternatives to keep your attendance up; the best way is to visit another club.  If not, there is the online club.  Also, attending board or committee meetings counts and of course attending a service project counts too.  But all of these must be reported to the club secretary within two weeks of the missed meeting.  He will then inform the treasurer to adjust the $15 lunch fee for not attending and adjust his documentation that he must submit to District 5240.
