5:30 to 7:30 PM

Rotary year 2020-2021 is coming to a close, and we have a lot to celebrate.  Join us for our annual Step Down event - an evening of fun, fellowship, and a trip down memory lane for President Kati.

Jeff and Karen Kerns are hosting outside at their lovely Montecito manor (849 Hot Springs Road).

Spouses and significant others are encouraged to attend, but reservations are required.

RSVP to Liz Westwick at:
elizabeth.westwick@icloud.com

Attire is casual. Everyone who attends is asked to bring a gift colored red, gold, yellow or blue.  (Value not to exceed $25.) No details on what the gift is for, but I'm sure the social committee has something fun in mind.

See you then!

President's Message
Dear Friends,

When I think of the 2020-21 Rotary year, three things stand out for me:

First, we had great participation and excellent speakers during the club meetings. Zoom was our friend this year but it still made a difference that you all attended regularly. And how great that we could have speakers and guests attending our meetings from beyond our community.

Second, a fantastic group of Board members whose dedication and flexibility made wonderful things happen. I was especially pleased with their enthusiasm and early support for our Back2School fundraiser.

Third, friends in the club who showed such kindness and helpfulness to me this year. From organizing monthly community service projects, to producing excellent newsletters, to welcoming new members at informal beach socials, to pulling off a successful fundraiser, to quickly answering my last-minute emails and texts. I couldn’t have done my job without them.

I’m grateful for having served with so many wonderful people.

See you on Tuesday,
