Our Back2School Fundraiser was an unqualifed success, raising over $16,000 to support scholarships for SBCC students pursuing techical and vocational careers.
Special thanks to committee co-chairs Tony Morris and Cathy Cash; team leads Lynda Nahra, Arthur Rachwald, and Harlan Green; Master of Ceremonies Jesse Brisendine; chat room monitor, Eryn Shugart; and everyone who contributed by soliciting auction items, inviting friends, and making donations.
Our efforts got a big boost via the outstanding video production skills of Justin Usami. In addition to overseeing all technical aspects of the live broadcast, Justin devloped a series of high quality videos that were used during the event. And Justin's participation proved the value of the program as he is a former scholarship recipient.
