Enhance Your Impact
The District Training Assembly is an opportunity for all Rotarians to enhance their leadership skills and refine strategies to achieve their goals. This online event offers motivation, inspiration, essential Rotary knowledge, and fresh ideas to drive success.
As the years pass, I’ve learned to place less energy on comparison and more on purpose. What’s truly meant for us often unfolds with a sense of ease—through the right connections, meaningful collaborations, and opportunities aligned with service rather than struggle.
We all carry a full load each day: commitments to our families, our professions, and our communities. Rotary reminds us that while we serve others, we must also care for ourselves and for one another through fellowship, understanding, and grace.
In that spirit, I invite us to continue supporting each other, sharing the journey, and making space for joy alongside service. Finding that balance isn’t always easy, but it’s a worthwhile practice—one that strengthens both our impact and our connections as Rotarians.

Mary Jean Vignone also addressed the importance of human oversight with her talk on the role of emotional intelligence for leaders in an AI-powered world.
The Rotary E-Club of Southern Scotland, which recently started a virtual leadership development program that pairs Rotarians who are industry leaders with younger professionals
