Will deep sea mining help alleviate Chinese control of critical minerals used for green energy?

Mr. David S. Huber has 45 years of offshore oil & gas experience in the Gulf of Mexico and internationally, all with exploration and production companies.

Dave started his career as a subsea drilling engineer at Exxon and went on to co-found two deepwater E&P companies in the Gu;f of Mexico: Mariner Energy, which had a successful IPO on the NYSE, and Deep Gulf Energy, which was sold to Kosmos Energy for $1.25 billion.

He retired in 2017 and currently serves on the board of Ocean Minerals and Neptune Minerals, both deepwater mining companies, Respinnovation a French medical device company and Subsea Infrastructure LLC, an offshore financing company.

In addition, David is a Rotarian with the North Santa Barbara Club.
