On August 4th we met at the Tecolote Book Shop for a presentation by co-owner Mary Sheldon. She provided background on the publishing industry as well as the logistics of managing an independent bookstore. In addition, she shared some excellent book recommendations.

Tecolote is the Nahuatl word for owl, so owls are are well represented among the shelves of the Tecolote Book Shop.
