The event began with the Coastal Performing Arts Foundation's Coastal Youth Theater with musical performances from their recent productions.
Followed by the Maharlika Modern Dance Group; then we were entertained by the Morro Bay High School Dance Fusion all the while the children of Los Osos and their parents enjoyed prizes and drone demonstrations from Zackster's Hobbies & More. The Los Osos 4H Club brought our "mascots", the goats.
The San Luis Obispo Symphony also brought their own "petting zoo" of sorts, with a variety of musical instruments for the children & parents to "pet".
This year we introduced the first Youth Soccer Shoot-out Contest with three age groups. In-between events K-Rock held contests and 'Old Goats & Little Kids' alike, while Bubbles and more bubbles floated in the warm air and sweet smell of barbecue chicken and hot dogs. there was also Face painting, prizes and balloons for all.
And to keep the spirt of a 'Fun Family Fair Celebration' was the music of "Route 66".
