Rotary Digital

We are now five days from launch, and today we’ll highlight how the new Rotary.org will do a better job of explaining Rotary to the world and better describe what we do to impact communities around the world.
The easiest way to do this is visually. Here is the homepage of the new site:
Compare it to the image in the last post (start of the 10-day countdown) and you’ll notice a couple of things. If you focus on the header, the Rotary.org homepage is much simpler. Less navigation options to choose from, but still a clear indicator if you are a Rotarian where you should go. This is big difference! Let’s not stop there. If you scroll down on the home page you get compelling imagery. Not just of service projects but actual real-life Rotarians having fun at a meeting — and yes, they are real Rotarians.
So what’s the value of a meeting? Well, here is an easy way to learn more –
And if you follow it all the way through you get -
These are just samples of what a person wanting to learn more about Rotary would get. We think this example does a great job explaining how awesome Rotary is. We know our members do the great job telling Rotary’s story, and in another nine days you’ll have a tool that will help you tell that story more effectively.
