Anthony Ruh and his partner from Engineers Without Borders spoke at last Friday's meeting.  They spoke with passion regarding their work projects in Thailand and India.  Anthony Ruh is working in  the village of Sainji in Jaunpur province, Northern India. Presently  the student engineers are working on a corn-dekernelers, the second phase will be latrines.

Logan Grant's project is in Huai Nam Khun, Thailand.  The completed project is a Slow Sand Filters water purification system as seen in this video. The second phase of their project is sanitation  for this three thousand person community in the hills of Northern Thailand.

Engineers Without Borders, Cal Poly are wiling to partner with Rotary on future international projects, the Rotary Club of Los Osos hopes to work with these engineers on our Rwanda Project.  For more information regarding the Engineers Without Borders go to: http://ceenve3.civeng.calpoly.edu/ewb/Home.htm
